The Gallery CASA DEL ARTE was founded in 2010 by Cecilia Trachsler and it is especially focused on Young, Contemporary Art. The Gallery presents works from artists on the rise, giving them the possibility to exhibit and develop their artistic skills, and, on the other hand, from already established artists. Photography, paintings, sculptures and installations are monthly hosted by CASA DEL ARTE.

The Gallery invites regularly artists from abroad and gives them the occasion to exhibit in Switzerland. In summertime, the Gallery organizes every year a project, called „Frei Hände“(=Free Hands), where the Gallery’s spaces are open to art student exhibitions.

CASA DEL ARTE is located in the centre of Zurich near the prominent museum of the town, the “Kunsthaus Zürich” in an ancient house (1812). The Gallery is composed by an inner exhibition space of 100m2 and an external space of 50m2.
